LOS ANGELES – July 7, 2009 – Orthopaedic surgeon H. Michael Mynatt, MD, won a Guardian Angel award at St. Vincent Medical Center in June.

Patients and their family members often express the desire to “do something more” to show appreciation for the care received at St. Vincent Medical Center. The new Guardian Angel Program, administered by St. Vincent Foundation, provides a way for them to support the hospital and honor a physician or associate whom they want to recognize. Each Guardian Angel is presented with a certificate and pin.

The patient who nominated Dr. Mynatt has been going to see him since 2001 and said: “Dr. Mynatt is wonderful. He is caring, patient and always explains things thoroughly. He always spent whatever time was needed to answer my questions and address my concerns.”
